On Tuesday, students at the Prep and Pre-Prep School took part in a ‘House Pumpkin Decorating’ competition. There were so many wonderful, original and inspiring entries. Mrs. Williams, alongside a couple of girls from the Sixth Form, were called in as expert judges. They found the task very tricky, as the standard was so high!
Girls spent time over half term designing and carving their own pumpkin, ready to bring in to be judged at school on Halloween. The response was fantastic across the Prep and Pre-Prep. It was delightful to see the girls arriving carrying their superb and inventive creations. Both halls had never looked so spooky!
Every entry earned valuable house points, as well as a bonus for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. As the standard was so high this year, the judges thought long and hard about each entry and deliberated for quite some time. Well done to all the girls who entered, alongside some members of staff too!
