There is no such thing as a predictable career path for an Oxford High alumna. You will meet OHS alumnae everywhere – making their mark, being creative and getting heard. They possess the essential skills needed for adapting to a changing economy and professional landscape, and they are confident both to lead and collaborate. The foundation for this confidence begins in school.
Our Careers Programme is also rare in that meaningful careers activities start in Year 7, and continue far beyond school. Our Head of Careers, Dr. Claudia Strobel, delivers a structured programme of dedicated careers lessons, stand-alone activities and individual guidance interviews alongside external providers. Recent leavers often return to the school to share their professional expertise and careers advice with current students, or to chat over future plans.
In 2018, Oxford High School was re-awarded the Quality in Careers Standard by Investor in Careers.
The school is enormously proud to have achieved this prestigious award. This gives external recognition of the high quality careers education, information, advice and guidance provided at our school.
We also have a partnership with Career Companion, which provides an independent and impartial gateway to careers information on the internet. To access our Career Companion portal, click the button below.
