Oxford High School welcomes invitations from overseas students. However, we are a day school and do not offer boarding.

To attend Oxford High School, it is essential that one or both parents will be living with their daughter whilst she is at our school. We cannot consider any kind of homestay or guardianship arrangements for international students as we believe that girls need the support of their families or of a good boarding school at this crucial stage of their education.

We are not licensed by the UK Borders Agency to support Tier 4 visa applications to enter the UK. For students outside of the EU/EEA we require a copy of the student’s passport and visa before we can offer a place.

If you are interested in a GDST School but a boarding place is needed, we recommend that you contact our sister school, The Royal High School Bath, who offer boarding to girls in the Senior School. Their Registrar can be contacted on l.bevan@rhsb.gdst.net

Overseas Admissions Day

Overseas applications are considered and processed by the same application deadlines as UK applications. We will ask you to arrange with your daughter’s current school, the British Embassy or a reputable assessment centre to invigilate the admissions assessments, and provide us the contact details of the invigilator ahead of the admissions day.
