As a Sixth Former at Oxford High School, your daughter will be joining a very special group: a group that will support her for the rest of her life.

Every Sixth Former at Oxford High School is automatically a member of the GDST Alumnae Network, a body of over 70,000 alumnae, and growing.  This is your network for life, unique to the GDST, and brings with it many benefits.  Not only is it a fantastic way to keep in touch with friends, but it’s a great way to gain contacts and insights into your chosen career, as well as joining a ready-made group of like-minded individuals on campus at your university.

The benefits of being a member of the GDST network start before you even leave school, thanks to Rungway, the GDST’s innovative Alumnae Mentoring Programme. This groundbreaking concept enables current students to make use of the GDST’s 70,000 strong alumnae network, whom you are free to contact with any questions you may have about university choices, courses and careers.

At OHS, we are also building on our own mentoring programme by matching each Oxford High Sixth Former with a recent OHS alumna. These mentors will be fully trained, fully reference-checked and fully signed-up to the GDST Mentoring Charter. Your dedicated mentor will then be on-hand throughout your time in the Sixth Form to give her advice about A Level study, university choices and life beyond school.
