At Oxford High Prep School, we are very proud of our house system. It encourages positive self-esteem amongst children and promotes the values and ethos of our school community. It also provides opportunities for all, regardless of ability, to take part in a range of activities so that children can reach their full potential.
- All girls belong to one of the four houses: Griffin (blue), Unicorn (yellow), Wyvern (green) and Yale (red)
- There are opportunities for vertical tutoring and peer mentoring
- Meetings take place every fortnight
- House events and competitions take place throughout the year
- Each house is led by a member of staff, supported by Year 6 House Captains
- Girls can earn house points, which are totaled up, and, at the end of each term, the winning house receives a special treat
