To celebrate Reading Week at OHS, and to instil a love of reading in our students, our school librarians are running an inter-form reading competition for Years 7 and 8 that will conclude following the Christmas break.
The rules are simple: every book ordered from the library from now until the end of term will come with a ticket on which students can write a review. Completed tickets that are returned to the library will earn points for the girl’s form, with the best reviews winning prizes.
With the Christmas holidays approaching, there is no better time to curl up with a good book, whether a fictional classic or a brand-new autobiography. The library has an extensive range of titles, and our fantastic librarians regularly compile reading lists to help inspire our students.
