We would like to offer our warmest congratulations to Michaela (Year 12) who was selected to represent Oxfordshire in the Senior/Ladies Winter County Tennis Cup.
A key national event in the British Tennis calendar, this event brings together teams from 44 counties who compete against each other in small groups of four. These groups are placed in order of the previous year’s results with Group 1 being the ‘premier league’. Final positions are based on how each county performs within that particular group, with top teams getting promoted to the next group and bottom teams relegated to the group below.
We are delighted to announce that, following some tough matches, Michaela’s Oxfordshire team was promoted to a higher group. She and the rest of the team played exceptionally well to achieve this result.
