What a jam packed day Year 4 enjoyed on Monday 10th October at Dorchester Abbey!
We were immersed in Anglo Saxon life, from tasting bread to trying our hand at Lucet weaving, from re-enacting the baptism of King Cynegils to listening to story telling about Alfred the Great and making beautiful copper brooches.
“The whole experience was great, the team was nice and I learnt so much.”
“I enjoyed the weaving and the Abbey.”
“I liked it because we got to make brooches.”
