Exploring Career Pathways: From Medicine to Dentistry

Attendees delved into various disciplines through presentations and Q&A sessions. Consultants from diverse specialties shared insights into career pathways, interview preparation and firsthand experiences from current medical students.

Medic Mind, a revision platform run by medical students for aspiring medical students, discussed aspects of the medical school application and preparing for the UCAT exams. Attendees gained insights into strategic university choices and interview success strategies.

A highlight of the conference was the Medical Student Panel, where current medical students shared candid insights into the application process and life as a medical student.  Included on the panel were Oxford High School Alumnae Dr. Shirley Yick and Dr. Hannah Al Yousuf, two accomplished physicians who shared their remarkable journeys, offering inspiring insights into their journey from OHS to successful medical careers.
