Our year 13 students are celebrating as they receive their eagerly awaited university offers following a successful application cycle, marking a significant milestone in their academic journeys.
Students have applied for a wide range of courses, including Architecture, Costume Design for Performance, Aerospace Engineering, History, English Literature and International Business to name a few, reflecting the diverse range of passions and interests cultivated in our Sixth Form. We are delighted that over 80% of offers to date have been from their universities of choice, with the University of Manchester, the University of Bristol and Durham University being the most popular choices. Applicants for Medicine, one of the most competitive courses, also saw success, with over 80% of applicants receiving at least one offer to date.
Among them, 14 students have secured offers from Oxbridge institutions, with 11 students receiving offers from the University of Cambridge and 3 from the University of Oxford. An impressive 50% of pupils who underwent the rigorous Oxbridge interview process have received university offers.
