Sophia West, Year 13, has become the first student from Oxford High School to place in the top three of the prestigious Tower Poetry Prize competition. With her stunning poem, The Awakening, Sophia was selected from nearly 2,000 applicants to take third place, winning £500 and a place on the prizewinners’ summer school, plus £150 for the school. Well done Sophia!
