At this time of year, there is usually a Senior School musical involving around 100 students but, due to COVID, such an opportunity has not been possible.
However, at the start of the term, Connie (Year 13) came forward with the wish to direct ‘A Doll’s House’ by Henrik Ibsen, a three-act play which our English A Level students have been studying. Given the green light, she has been directing her small cast of Year 13s once a week after school and during lunchtimes, and all have attended with enormous commitment.
Today, we had the pleasure to watch the fruit of their labour as they put on a captivating performance, wonderfully portraying the tale of Nora Helmer.
