This term, students have embraced their house pride through various events and activities across the Senior School. Read on to see what the House Prefects have to say about the past term of events, before we reveal the winners of the House Cup for Spring 2024…
Zeus
This term, Zeus has shown amazing efforts in getting involved. We loved to see the enthusiasm and participation of many Zeusians and aim to get even more students involved next term to make our epic comeback happen.
Shout out to the year 8s who came first in inter-house netball and to Margaux who came runner-up in the year 7-9 category of the house linguistics competition.
Zeus has also received many house points and house awards this term so let’s continue to put in the hard work. We are excited to start fresh next term with lots of exciting house events to look forward to.
Ares
This term we have been doing super well; winning house scrabble, house linguistics and getting through to the university challenge final. What we are most proud of is the amount of people who have stepped forward, and put themselves out there by participating in house events. Whether that’s on stage in house lip sync or online for house linguistics, we did really well this term, let’s start off the summer term strong with the colour run.
Athena
We are so proud of Athena’s efforts this term! We came second in house scrabble, house lipsync, and house linguistics and congratulations to Tilly Myatt for coming 1st in the Year 12-13 category for linguistics! We loved the enthusiasm from Athena members across all year groups, and well done to the lower years for their house sport results, especially year 9 netball for coming second!
Poseidon
We’d like to thank everyone who participated in house events this term. Your enthusiasm has been great. We have done incredibly well this term in various events, placing second in house Scrabble and first place in house lip sync! With an honourable mention to first place in the sixth form litter pick.
We’d also like to congratulate everyone who participated in all the house sport events so far, not all the results are in yet but so far the year sevens, eights and nines have done amazingly so keep up the good work! We are so excited for the upcoming house events next term and look forward to seeing you all then.
