Over recent months, budding authors throughout OHS have been submitting their entries into the Spring Poetry Competition – an initiative run by our fantastic English Department.
Under the theme ‘Unsolved’, students have channelled their creativity and originality into their work and produced some truly exceptional poems.
We are delighted to announce the following winners –
Years 12 & 13 – Izzy with ‘Third time lucky’
Years 10 & 11 – Sophia with ‘Hallowed’
Years 7-9 – Beatrice with ‘A visit to the castle’
Years 5 & 6 – Alice with ‘Stormy harbour’
Years 1 & 2 – Savanna with ‘Why do I worry?’
These poems will now be submitted into the GDST Laurie Magnus Competition 2022.
