PSHE – Personal, Social, Health Education – Over two days girls thought about their own ‘well being’, working together and in individual activities which included workshops, free choice sessions and a visit to University Parks.
Workshops included; celebrating differences by creating a play-doh face of themselves and choosing a country for which they felt they had a connection, thinking about their mental health by creating a ‘healthy mind tree’ and decorating T-shirts with positive messages, a police safety talk and a first aid workshop, making badges reflecting positive ‘well-being’ messages and a relaxing walk in University Park.
Free choice sessions involved several activities for the girls to choose from including; Yoga, Taekwondo, weaving, trying their hand at some Chinese art, throw and catch challenge, Lego modelling, knitting, creating a positive tree and making book hedgehogs.
