Library Competition Winners

5 February 2021

At a time when the majority of us are spending our days indoors, there are few greater pleasures than curling up with a good book and being swept away into a different world. That’s why, to coincide with Reading Week last term, our dedicated librarians decided to launch a reading competition for Years 7 and 8.

The rules were straightforward: any book taken out from the library during the competition came with a ticket for including a written review. Girls simply had to complete the tickets and return them to the library in order to earn points for their forms.

After weeks of reading and reviewing, we’re delighted to announce the winners. For Year 7, form 7.H submitted the most reviews, with Phoebe penning the highest number. Form 8.O is our Year 8 winner, with Harriet submitting the most reviews. The form prize is to nominate a book for the library; everyone is able to vote for a title, but Phoebe and Harriet will have the deciding votes.

Well done to everyone who took part!
