Over the last few weeks, Year 8 students studying French have all been taking part in a Spelling Bee competition. With one minute to spell a maximum number of words in French (with accents, dashes and spaces), the students did fantastically well.
This year we had ten students taking part in the final on Friday 7th January in the Auditorium. With an outstanding score of 20 words spelt correctly, Ksenia (8H) won the competition. Beatrice (8O) came a close second with 18 words and Saijayani (8H) was third with 17 words.
Well done to all our Year 8 students for participating and especially to the following finalists for doing so well!
Finalists: Zara (8H), Ksenia (8H), Beatrice (8O), Yiwen (8H), Ahana (8O), Adriana (8H), Lucy (8H), Saijayani (8H), Cerys (8O) and Jennifer (8H)
