Year 5 recently visited the Black Country Living Museum as part of their topic on Victorians. They explored shops and housing from the period and were shown some of the industries common at that time, including chain making. The girls donned hard hats for an expedition into a coal mine and were on their best behaviour during their encounter with a Victorian School Master…only a few were punished!
