Year 4 experienced a fantastic day, learning new words (do you know what a detritivore or an eft are?), being nature detectives and finding a wealth of life in the pond in the wildlife haven at Sutton Courtenay. Girls mentioned “my favourite bit was catching the exoskeleton of the dragonfly nymph when pond dipping.” “I enjoyed finding the skull of the muntjac,” “I liked seeing the efts (baby newts)”, “my favourite bit was building dens.” Everyone had an amazing day.
