Caroline Mayr-Harting taught Classics at Oxford High School for almost 30 years from 1977 to 2004. She was a much-loved teacher, who not only inspired many students to study Classics, but was also a brilliant form tutor and led many memorable school trips.
After Caroline passed away an idea began to take shape – to create a travel fund in her name to enable students to participate in an overseas school trip who would not otherwise be able to do so. By creating a £25,000 endowed pot, £500 will be available every academic year in perpetuity, to enable girls to access the same opportunities as their peers.
Please help us create The Caroline Mayr-Harting Travel Fund in celebration of her life and thanksgiving for her legacy.
