We are so proud of Annabelle (Year 12) who, last weekend, attended a competition with St John Ambulance where she was awarded the title of Regional Cadet of the Year for the London & South region. St John has over 8,000 cadets and she competed against 28 other young people who had already won their district competitions.
As a result, Annabelle will represent St John Ambulance at a number of high profile events including Remembrance Day at the Cenotaph and a formal dinner in Windsor Castle. It is a particularly exciting year for St John Ambulance as it is the 100th birthday of their Cadets section, as well as the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Annabelle will also attend local events with the High Sheriff of Oxford, supporting him in his Shrieval year at events in Blenheim Palace and many Oxford Colleges.
She is very excited to start and is more than happy to answer any questions people might have about St John and how to get involved.
