The Oxford High School SPOC!

Oxford High have once again pioneered new ground with their innovative online course (a SPOC) in partnership with the the Open University’s digital learning platform, FutureLearn and the GDST. Our partnership with the Open University’s digital platform, FutureLearn, gives OHS Sixth Formers a unique and innovative on-line MOOC-style course which focuses on how to make the transition from school to university smoothly and prepares you for life beyond school with topics such as budgeting, time management, interview technique and negotiation skills. As part of The 360 Programme, OHS Sixth Formers have their own online course designed specifically to focus on the skills you need to thrive at university and beyond. Director of Sixth Form, Rachael Pallas-Brown commented that “OHS is the only school globally to extend digital learning to its students in this way and it is testament to the pioneering academic spirit of Oxford High and the GDST  that our Sixth Form students will benefit from this innovative approach.”
