In advance of this year’s first meeting of the Senior Governing Body, the OHS governors were yesterday treated to an extended tour of the Ada Benson Building with DFO, Sarah Arnold.
We were delighted to welcome returning governors to this occasion, as well as our new Chairman of Governors, Ms Katherine Haynes, who is Head of the John Lyon School in Harrow. Other new governors joining us yesterday were Mr Stephen Huxter, whose financial and public-sector acumen will reinforce the financial insights provided by Helen Morton, and Professor Helen Small, who is Merton Professor of English Language and Literature.
The Governors all commented on how wonderful it was to see the Ada Benson Building already such a hive of energy and purposeful learning.
