On Friday we were eagerly waiting for our German exchanges’ arrival. When they finally arrived, we were quite nervous, but we greeted each other wholeheartedly (some of us even recognised each other from the photographs) and set-off home for the weekend. We organised lots of amazing activities including going to Blenheim Palace, Ice Skating, visiting nice cafes and seeing films.
On Monday morning they were warmly welcomed in school and were very delighted to receive their OHS tote bags, which accompanied them on all their trips. After school, we joined them for a great evening ten-pin bowling! On Tuesday, they went back to the Shakespearian era, with a trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon, where they got a taste of English poetry and some lovely ice cream. On Wednesday after a trip to London, they all enjoyed watching the Lower School Concert. On Thursday, they went to Oxford Castle and had time to do some last minute shopping.
The week seemed to fly by and we were sad to say goodbye. We are all counting the days until we set-off for Munich in the holidays!
