Last week, we were delighted to be joined by award-winning singer/songwriter Eleni C who presented an inspiring webinar about mental health and wellbeing to our Year 10s & 11s – along with performances of her music!
With around 180 people listening in, Eleni C discussed topics such as the stigma and stereotypes surrounding mental health, seeking help and advice, online and offline pressure on young people, and how to take care of our wellbeing during this pandemic.
The London-based pop artist, who has opened for acts such as Little Mix, Alesha Dixon, and Becky Hill, also shared her own experiences with mental health and how she utilised them to help, rather than hinder, her music career.
Thank you for giving such an uplifting talk, Eleni C! We are certain that our students are now feeling even more encouraged to pursue their goals, no matter what the obstacles may be, and have the reassurance that help is always available.
