Things have been hotting up on the house points competition this last week as pupils have been competing in the House Tug of War competition. Our 4 Houses; Ares, Athena, Poseidon and Zeus all championed teams across the whole of the senior school. Not to be limited to country game fairs, the Tug of War competition is a fierce House competition played out on the school field. Each House is represented by pupils across age ranges and battle it out under supervision and refereeing from our sports department.
The pitch is laid, competition rules are briefed and the flag is dropped for teams to start. Each competition was brilliantly supported by House members and captains bellowing encouragement from the side-lines. Heat after heat was fiercely fought for by all the teams and the girls technique grew stronger with each battle. All points are awarded to the accumulative totals of each House.
