High Sheriff’s Law Lecture Essay Competition

Anna Z. in Y12 has won second prize in the prestigious High Sheriff’s Law Lecture Essay Competition.
Following this year’s High Sheriff’s Law Lecture  ‘A Matter of Life and Death, delivered by the Honourable Mr Justice Baker at the University of Oxford Examination Schools, Anna’s essay “Should anyone have the right to decide? If so, who?” was judged by the University of Oxford Law Faculty to be an outstanding entry. Her prize includes an award of £100 and a visit to court with a retired Judge, to see the court building, to meet sitting Judges and, if suitable, to sit in on a court hearing. Well done Anna!
