Congratulations to siblings Aneesa (5AC) and Yumna (8G) who were announced as winners in the Get Set Global Challenge last term. Going head-to-head with students from around the world, Aneesa and Yumna performed amazingly and placed 1st and 3rd respectively.
To mark David Attenborough’s new film A Life On Our Planet, participants spent two weeks carrying out independent research to better understand the climate change crisis, sustainability, and what we can do to protect our planet. All this culminated in a whole host of live quizzes, in which Aneesa and Yumna excelled.

The amount of time and effort they put into the challenge has been absolutely amazing and way beyond anything that we could have anticipated. It has been genuinely inspiring seeing and hearing about the things Aneesa and Yumna are taking it upon themselves to do at such a young age.
Having placed 1st in the Final Quiz, Yumna was given the incredible opportunity of adopting an endangered animal through the WWF. Moreover, with their prize points, both girls purchased books which they hope to give to the school library.
Well done Aneesa and Yumna on this terrific achievement! We are proud to have two fantastic representatives of OHS.
