Year 13 linguists enjoyed meeting a translator and hearing about what her profession and about the book ‘Nouons-nous’ by Emmanuelle Pagano that she co-translated to English. Our students learnt about the difficulties and intricacies of translation to your first language and then they were able to put their own language skills and creativity into practice.
