We are delighted to announce that Georgia in Year 12 has earned the runner-up position in the nationwide Close Reading Competition, hosted by the English & Media Centre (EMC).
Opened to Year 12 and 13 students, the emagazine Close Reading Competition required applicants to write a 500-word critical analysis of an extract from Yaa Gyasi’s epic debut novel, Homegoing.
Georgia’s impressive entry, which you can read here, is now officially published on the emagazine website.
