What fantastic success two of our Conrad Challenge teams have accomplished as they were announced Conrad Innovators 2020/21 – the only teams from the UK that have received this award!
The Conrad Challenge is a STEM competition like no other. Every year, students across the globe utilise their scientific knowledge, creativity, critical-thinking and entrepreneurial skills by designing a product and/or service that addresses some of the most pressing social, scientific, and societal issues.

BeeGreen and ADEPT to Adapt are now up against other equally-impressive groups from around the world, competing for the top 5 places in their category to progress to the Innovation Summit.
Under the category ‘Health & Nutrition’, BeeGreen (Abigail T (S7), Evie S (S7), Milla M (S5), Rebecca I (S8)) have designed a product that makes use of manuka honey’s antibacterial properties to combat deadly hospital-acquired infections.
ADEPT to Adapt (Georgia J (S3), Stella H (S3), Sunniva G (S8), Alice P (S1), Jasmin H (S4)), who are under the category ‘Energy & Environment’, have devised a product that aims to support communities affected by natural disasters.
This is the second year that Oxford High School has participated in the Conrad Challenge and both years have seen great results. This is a truly fantastic achievement for BeeGreen and ADEPT to Adapt and we are immensely proud of their tremendous work.
