Chinese New Year in KS2

7 February 2019

Some of the KS2 children and their parents helped us to celebrate Chinese New Year in style! With the expertise and organisation of Mrs Wei and Mrs Ye, children performed dances, learnt songs and played some traditional Chinese instruments. We were also introduced to the Chinese God of Wealth and Pandas!

The programme of events is listed below the following photos – parents can visit Firefly for more photos.

The programme was hosted by Year 6 children; Anna, Jessica, Rosa and Leonora. The audience were given lucky envelopes by the Chinese God of Wealth and of course some pandas (Effie and Christina).
