While in lockdown, Year 9 students have been busy creating book bags as part of their Guided Home Learning Textiles lessons.
Based on the idea that books are precious things worth treasuring, the ask was to design a bag that would carry a book selected by each student as one they would like to hand down to the next generation; essentially something they might one day read to their grandchildren.
The books chosen included:
- The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe
- Winnie The Pooh
- Mulan
- The Magic Faraway Tree
- Alice in Wonderland
- Winnie The Pooh
