The whole of the Prep and Pre-Prep got together for our annual Harvest Concerts this week.
Girls sang in year groups and together about our beautiful planet and how we need to look after it; the Chamber Choir reminded us that “To love is good”. We also sang about the more traditional aspects of harvest, with songs such as the memorable “Mr Scarecrow” from the Reception girls! There were seasonal and topical poems from KS1 and Year 4. We were reminded to “Live for tomorrow, not for today!”
The proceeds from the retiring collections at each concert was shared by the Earth Trust at Long Wittenham and the Berkshire Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.
