As part of the Guided Home Learning programme, girls from across all different year-groups have been continuing working on the art projects they started before the school was closed.
These have included works based on memory and family archives, sketch-book studies that inspired fashion designs and sample production, painting, photography, paper sculpture-making, still-life and the creation of bespoke book bags.
We wanted to take this opportunity to showcase just a small selection of some of the incredible work students have created from home. In each piece you can see the inventiveness of the artist, working with whatever materials and resources they had to hand.
We hope that lockdown has encouraged some of you to explore new facets of your creativity – it can be a wonderful tonic in trying times.
Thanks to the artists for the inspiration.
