Daryl Back, our outgoing Chair of FOxHS, the parent body at Oxford High School, was treated to a rousing goodbye from the girls with a long, long list of all the events, donations and gifts that have been generated by FOxHS for the students and – to all those on the FOxHS Committee who are also retiring – a big thank you from all of us at OHS. The FOxHS team run all sorts of events from cake sales, Easter egg hunts and Christmas Fairs at the Junior School to Year 7-9 discos, college garden tours, second-hand uniform sales, quizzes, wine-tasting and the legendary Fireworks Evening to name but a few. Under Daryl’s leadership, the Annual Fund has raised almost £800,000 – all of which goes straight back to the girls to enrich their daily lives. Daryl is indefatigable, energetic and incredibly organised, combining a career as an Artistic Director and Executive Producer with being the mother of two OHS girls and Chair of both the Annual Fund and FOxHS for 15 years. Thank you to Daryl and to all the FOxHS Committee!
