We invited our alumnae back to Oxford High School GDST on Saturday 13th May to celebrate their 5,10, 25 and 40 year reunions.
We brought together former teachers and current staff to welcome back alumnae who left in 1983, 1998, 2013 and 2018. It was a lovely catch up over afternoon tea. Helen Thomas, a valued alumna from 1998, gave a wonderful speech on all the incredible memories and opportunities she had during her time here!
Our alumnae had tours around the school from our fantastic student helpers and current staff. They enjoyed reminiscing on the past with both former classmates and teachers, as well as exploring the facilities to see how much it had changed.
The archives were also available for the year groups, so they could find school photographs, magazines and schoolwork – to really bring back the memories!
It was wonderful to welcome everyone back, and our teaching staff enjoyed being able to catch-up with their former students and colleagues. We hope to see you all again soon!
