On Thursday 2nd March, students at OHS brought their favourite books to life through a variety of costumes to celebrate World Book Day.
Our school Librarian, Ms McMorrow, organised a writing workshop with local author Tracy Darnton, who helped the students build a story from a series of prompts.
The costume competition was a resounding success, with students going above and beyond with their costume ideas. The overall winners, Tiwa and Azra (Year 7), dressed as Daisy and Hazel from Robin Stevens’ A Murder Most Unladylike series. They had even made their own props – a vial of poison and detective business cards – just like their characters.
