Last week, Year 8 students embarked on an unforgettable residential trip to Amsterdam, a vibrant city rich in history and culture. This adventure broadened their horizons beyond the classroom, immersing them in the richness of Dutch culture.
The adventure kicked off at the Van Gogh Museum, where students immersed themselves in vivid artworks. They also visited the Clara Maria Cheese Farm and Clog Factory, where they tried their hand at hand carving traditional clogs.
They traveled to Kinderdijk to discover traditional architecture, including a number of windmills.
The highlight of the trip was the Corpus Body Museum. This immersive experience took students on an extraordinary journey through the human body, exploring its intricate systems and marveling at its wonders, perfectly tying in with their science studies.
