This half term, Year 8 students embarked on an unforgettable residential trip to Amsterdam, a vibrant city rich in history and culture. This adventure broadened their horizons beyond the classroom, immersing them in the richness of Dutch culture.
The adventure kicked off at the Van Gogh Museum, where students immersed themselves in vivid artworks. Inspired by his creative genius, they tried their hand at replicating his techniques, sparking a newfound appreciation for art.
They traveled to Zaanse Schans to discover traditional architecture, including a number of windmills.
The highlight of the trip was the Corpus Body Museum. This immersive experience took students on an extraordinary journey through the human body, exploring its intricate systems and marveling at its wonders, perfectly tying in with their science studies.
