After half term, Year 7 embarked on a residential trip to Kilve Court in Somerset to partake in some outdoor and adventurous activities.
The pupils’ spent a week making their way through a range of activities including caving, climbing, sailing, kayaking, mountain boarding, mountain biking, braving the high ropes and fossil hunting on a beach study. In the evening programme, pupils developed their teamwork, leadership and communication skills with the low ropes course, shelter building (where some got rather wet!) and orienteering.
Whilst the weather was not on our side, this certainly did not dampen the OHS spirit! The pupils had a wonderful time challenging themselves, facing some fears and making lots of newfriendships!
