Year 5 have been investigating environmental factors around the world in the topic this term called ‘Our Fragile Earth’. Linked to this has been their recent visit to the Earth Trust. In groups girls took part in a workshop to design an eco-village, considering 5 different aspects; Energy, Food, Transport, Waste and Water. They also stretched their legs on the long walk to the top of Wittenham Clumps where they spent some quiet time looking at man-made and natural features and doing a field sketch.
