Last week, Year 5 undertook a tremendous challenge. They performed the classic story ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ with just 2 days rehearsal.
They each had an individual part, as well as being members of the chorus who were, according to the director, ‘the true stars of the show’. They worked extremely hard, delivering their lines expressively and following the stage directions, under the creative eye of Mr Murchie. Their confidence soared and when they performed to parents on Friday afternoon, the girls were truly brilliant. They should all be very proud of themselves!
