Year 4 had a fabulous time on their two day residential trip to Court Hill at the end of last week. The outdoor centre is set in beautiful countryside, within the Vale of White Horse, near Wantage. It is a few minutes walk from the Ridgeway long distance path.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed all the planned activities, which included building dens, making necklaces using cut pieces of natural wood, printing leaves and flowers onto cloth and using sticks from the woods to weave wool to make gods’ eyes. They stayed the night in dormitories so, as you can imagine, not much sleep was had!
