The Year 2 topic this term is The Rainforest. During our visit to The Living Rainforest near Thatcham the Year 2 girls explored what life would might be like in a Rainforest. They found out about the climate and learnt what animals and plants lived there. To find out more about the animals Zoolab were invited to come and visit us. Year 2 were introduced to some of the creatures that live in different layers of a rainforest. A giant millipede, a snake, a tarantula and two giant snails came to Woodstock Road and the girls had an opportunity to hold or touch these unusual visitors.
