This week was Mental Health Awareness Week with the central theme of kindness.
When life as we know it is turned upside down, we’re reminded of the power simple acts of kindness have to raise our spirits.
As you’d expect, OHS students of all ages responded to this year’s theme with a range of thoughtful and creative activities.
Throughout the week on our social media channels, we’ve been sharing the efforts of our girls and teachers who have stepped up their acts of kindness by:
- Painting gorgeous rainbow pictures
- Sending thoughtful handwritten letters to the elderly
- Sending postcards to alumnae
- Creating PPE masks to distribute to the NHS
We’re very proud of the girls’ contributions and we’re sure the above examples only scratch the surface of their kind actions not only this week but throughout this challenging time.
