Devised and organised by Anoushka Patel, Academic STEM and Arkwright Engineering scholar at Oxford High School, the Technology and Ethics Forum was a chance to debate how leading edge technology is affecting our lives and to discuss our responsibility to ensure that good comes out of technological advancement. The audience listened to short speeches from our panel of experts and thinkers, followed by a robust debate and discussion. The floor was opened to members of the audience to ask questions (often challenging!) and voice their opinions. The debate successfully fused different issues, and will hopefully encourage more girls to get involved with STEM and other related topics.
