Today, we celebrated Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee!
Although the Jubilee is still a week away, here at OHS we wasted no time in commemorating this extraordinary occasion for the Queen. As students and staff arrived to school this morning, we were greeted by our Headmistress (or perhaps, Her Majesty?) Mrs Gardiner Legge in a perfectly regal and Queen-like attire.
The school was decorated with colourful Union Jack and Jubilee-themed bunting, and we got to enjoy a special lunch menu of a picnic-style buffet with Coronation chicken and a selection of salads, followed by a yummy strawberry Eton mess for dessert.
Form groups also took part in a fun quiz about the Queen and the Royal Family!
