Baking. Everyone’s met that word at least once in their lifetime. It may just seem to be a way of cooking food, or someone’s hobby, nothing more. But what if I tell you that there’s a lot more to baking than you think.
Baking is a very widespread and umbrella term for practically anything cooked in an oven; from bread and cakes to pastries and pies, there’s something for everyone. Baking is not just that though, it’s a form of art. From the science behind what magic goes on in the oven, to decorating and garnishing the fruits of your labour, each step is an artistic process, one that requires precision and consistency. I’m making it sound harder than it really is though.
Art isn’t just drawing or sculpting, it includes a diverse range of activities, and baking is a part of it. Baking has been proven to make you happy! Who doesn’t want to be happy? It’s also amazing for your creativity and imagination, it can be meditation, or you can do it just for fun. And best of all, you get to eat whatever you bake, so try it out! Even if you’ve had an unpleasant experience, maybe give it a second chance, you might just love it!
