The Solo Showcase on Wednesday 5th February was a huge success, attended by many family members and friends. The programme was from a broad range of genres and periods, including three self-composed songs by Lisa, Rhea and Edie who each sang their song whilst accompanying themselves on the guitar.
Everyone performed with confidence, and the warmth of the audience’s applause made clear the enthusiasm with which the playing and singing was received.
Perhaps more unusual features of the evening were a marimba piece, a piece for three people playing one piano, and a trombone concerto.
